Wallace Hartley Titanic Violin on Display at Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge

Titanic Museum Attraction is now displaying the Wallace Hartley violin and will continue through August 14. The violin sold for the highest price ever paid for an RMS Titanic artifact at 1.7 million dollars at auction in October 2013. The violin was found strapped to bandleader Wallace Hartley’s body after the sinking of the ship. It was returned to his wife-to-be, and did not resurface again until almost a century later. Hartley played the instrument up until the ship’s final moments.

In addition, Titanic Museum Attraction will also feature special, daily, early morning viewing of the violin for a limited number of VIP guests.
